Discover the timeless ritual of Organic Genmaicha, one of Japan’s most beloved green teas. Traditionally enjoyed as an everyday comfort tea, Genmaicha blends vibrant green tea with roasted rice (genmai) for a toasty, nutty warmth that soothes the senses and encourages mindful moments. Our version is crafted with care from first flush organic Sencha from Shizuoka, paired with organic roasted rice and popped rice. Unlike most genmaicha, which is often made with bancha, we use premium Organic Sencha of the Yabukita cultivar. This creates a more refined, elevated cup with a delicate sweetness, fresh green vibrancy, and deeper umami layers.
Organic Sencha, Organic Roasted Rice
Fill infuser basket or paper filter with 1 teaspoon of tea
205°F Water temp. - Use 4-5 oz. of water
Place filter in cup and add heated water
Steep for 1 minute. Steep a second time with boiled water for 15 seconds.
